High-Performance Clutch Pressure Plate. The Centerforce LMC Clutch Pressure Plate is engineered to significantly reduce the rotating mass of the engine while providing high torque capacity. Designed primarily for road racing and circle track applications, it enhances throttle response, acceleration, and overall drivability by lightening the load on the engine.
Construction and Appearance. This pressure plate is precision machined from durable, aircraft-grade billet aluminum which ensures strength and lightweight. It features a centrifugally assisted, ball bearing actuated diaphragm system and a heat-treated replaceable friction surface for long-lasting, reliable engagement. The finish is a natural metallic billet aluminum look.
Installation. Installation follows standard clutch replacement procedures using the included mounting hardware and dowel pins. No drilling or modifications are necessary for proper fitment.
Application. This clutch pressure plate fits the 2007-2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 equipped with the 5.4L supercharged engine. No fitment noted for other years or models.
