For a braking system that’s as muscular as your Brembo equipped Mustang, the DBA Drilled & Slotted 4000XS Series Front Rotors offer heavy-duty braking power in a sleek ultramodern format. The 4000XS is more effective than OEM rotors due to its drilled and slotted design, adding +15% to +20% braking power. Heat causes everything from brake fade to cracking, warping, and distortion, and the DBA rotors work both to resist heat (strengthened molecular bonds from heat-treating) and to cool off rapidly – with the special “Kangaroo Paw” pillar fin pattern’s 144 elements both shedding heat fast and shunting it away with high outward airflow.
Sophisticated Build. The high carbon iron used in DBA’S 4000XS Brake Rotors is a special alloy that extends service life and makes the components very resistant to long heat exposure, due to its boosted thermal capacity. The non-friction areas of the rotors are painted, which keeps corrosion to a minimum and makes the parts look better, since it suppresses visible rust also. The unique drilling and slotting pattern is key to creating the 4000XS’s notable braking power.
Straight Forward Installation. The DBA 4000XS Front Rotors are designed to bolt on in place of the stock brake rotors. Instructions are included with the parts.
Application. The DBA Drilled & Slotted 4000XS Series Front Rotors are specifically designed to fit the 2007 to 2012 Shelby GT500, 2012-2013 Boss 302 and 2011-2014 GT Mustangs equipped with Brembo brakes.
