Construction and Appearance. These headers are made from heavy-duty 16-gauge mild steel and feature mandrel-bent tubing for consistent diameter and smooth flow. They come with a high heat-resistant black painted finish that provides durability and a satin sheen, along with premium aluminum gaskets and TIG-welded, machined 3/8″ flanges for a secure, leak-free seal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no cutting or welding required, as the OE style 2-1/2” collector bolts directly to the factory exhaust head pipe. Basic mechanical skills and standard hand tools are sufficient to complete the setup.
Application. Suitable for multiple GM full-size SUVs and trucks equipped with 2WD and 4WD drivelines and GM Gen III/IV LS engines. Not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles; intended for racing or off-road use only.
