Rear Suspension Lowering. The Max Trac 2-Inch Rear Lowering Shackles provide a precise 2-inch drop to the rear suspension, enhancing the vehicle’s stance and improving its center of gravity. Designed for rear leaf springs, these shackles are ideal for achieving a lowered look while maintaining proper suspension functionality.
Construction and Appearance. These shackles are fabricated from durable steel and coated with a grey powdercoat finish to resist corrosion and wear. The robust steel construction ensures long-lasting performance and durability, while the powdercoat provides a smooth, protective surface.
Installation. Installation is straightforward but may require notching of the bed rib for clearance and loosening of bed bolts on certain models. No additional drilling is necessary; however, familiarity with suspension components is recommended.
Application. Specifically designed for 2015 to 2020 F-150 models, excluding Raptor variants. Not compatible with hybrid, Tremor, or models equipped with CCD suspension and BlueCruise technologies. Users should avoid wheels wider than 9 inches or with less than 4.5 inches of backspacing to maintain warranty coverage.
