Installing the Maximum Motorsports 4-Point Street Roll Bar on your 2005-2014 Ford Mustang convertible will give your Pony some track cred while also keeping you safe on the track. You may not be able to race with the pros, but you certainly will be able to enjoy auto-crossing and running on the pro tracks when they open for track days with this strong roll bar.
Heavy-Duty Construction. Maximum Motorsports uses 1.75 in. x 0.134 in. wall DOM tubing in the construction of this roll bar. The 4-point design is standard because of its strength, and has been adapted to fit within the stock interior of your Mustang convertible. All the hardware included with the roll bar is grade 5. Reinforcement plates specifically for convertibles are included with the bar.
Not NHRA/NMRA Compliant. This 4-point roll bar will certainly keep you safe if you properly install it, but it isn’t NHRA or NMRA compliant because it doesn’t include high-mounted door bars or a welded-in harness mount brace.
Professional Welding Required. While this roll bar can be bolted onto the chassis, in order to be safe for any sort of track application, it must be welded by a professional. The roll bar is shipped as bare steel with no coatings, so any powder coating or painting will have to be done before the installation. Everything you need for the installation is included.
No Warranty. Maximum Motorsports products, including this roll bar, are considered to be competitive and carry no warranty.
