Construction and Appearance. This clutch features a factory GM LT1 pressure plate modified for improved lift, release, and plate load to maintain stock pedal feel. The assembly incorporates segmented Kevlar friction discs and a precision CNC-machined billet steel flywheel balanced to under 0.100 oz/in to ensure durability and reliability at high RPMs, finished with a robust, high-quality machining texture for enhanced strength.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill but does not require drilling or custom modifications, as it mounts using factory GM components and includes all necessary hardware and alignment tools for a direct fit.
Application. Specifically designed for the 2016–2024 V8 Camaro, this clutch kit offers a direct replacement solution to handle increased power and torque without sacrificing factory driving characteristics. It is not recommended for drifting applications due to the wear profile of full-faced friction materials in that use case.
