Built around a TD06-20G wheel set withgenuine MHI journal bearing internals, this turbo is designed to supportup to 500 HPwith the right fuel system and tuning, while still retaining reasonable spool for a street-driven Genesis.

If you’ve outgrown the stock turbo and you’re tired of it falling on its face up top, this is the logical step before going to a full custom/rotated setup.

Why upgrade from the stock Genesis 2.0T turbo?

The factory Genesis Coupe 2.0T turbo is small. It’s fine for mild bolt-ons, but:

These dimensions put the turbo firmly in “serious build” territory – big enough to move real air, but not so large that the car becomes a lag monster.

Everything is designed for thestock-location bolt-oninstall on a Genesis Coupe 2.0T.

Required supporting mods & tuning

This turbo will happily support power the stock fuel system and tunecannotsupport. Plan on at least:

  • ECU tune(mandatory – donotrun this turbo hard on a stock tune)

  • High-flow downpipe and exhaust

  • Upgraded intercooler(front-mount or high-efficiency core)

  • Intake systemsized for the airflow / MAF or MAP scaling

  • Fuel pump and injectorssized for your power and fuel (pump gas vs E85/mix)

  • Boost control solution(good 3-port EBCS if you’re going past actuator pressure)

For higher power, expect to also need:

  • Stronger clutch or upgraded automatic transmission tuning/components

  • Better cooling (radiator, oil cooler)if you track the car

If someone wants 500 HP without budget for supporting parts and tuning, this is the wrong part for them.

Installation notes

  • If they want600+ HP, they should stop pretending they’re doing a “bolt-on” build and move to a bigger custom or rotated setup.
