Power and Performance. Maximize the power of your 2006-2013 7.0L Z06 Corvette by installing a Whipple W175FF 2.9L Intercooled Supercharger Competition Kit. You will see massive power increases in both horsepower and torque depending on fuel upgrades and tuning. This Whipple Supercharger gives you a near instantaneous power boost for incredible acceleration and top end power.
Competition “Tuner” Kit. This Whipple Supercharger Competition “Tuner” Kit includes the W175AX 2.9L twin-screw supercharger, aluminum high-flow intake manifold, oversized air-to-water intercooler, air filter, pulley, hoses, and wiring harnesses. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation. Does not include fuel system upgrades (injectors) or programmer.
Whipple Technology. The Whipple W175AX 2.9L front entry twin-screw supercharger significantly outperforms the competitions 1.9L and 2.3L roots-type systems. Whipple’s inverted design allows for an oversized intercooler core, when compared to other companies smaller intercooler cores, giving the Whipple lower air charge temperatures which allows for more boost and timing to be run on pump gas. Whipple’s superchargers feature a 3×5 rotor combination for increased RPM capacity, large diameter for increased airflow and small leak path, as well as increased helix for optimal sealing. This 3×5 rotor combo significantly increases in airflow under the curve, when compared to other companies less efficient 4×6 roots design. Whipple Superchargers feature a massive oversized intercooled air-bypass system for an industry leading reduction of burst knock and incredible fuel economy.
Required Upgrade. Please note that this Whipple Supercharger does not clear the stock factory hood, so an aftermarket hood is required for installation. Aftermarket hood is not included – sold separately.
Application. This Whipple W175FF 2.9L Intercooled Supercharger Competition Kit; Black is designed to fit 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 models equipped with the 7.0L V8 engine.
