Performance Upgrade. The Flowtech 1-3/4-Inch Shorty Headers; Ceramic are engineered to improve exhaust flow and engine performance for your vehicle. They are effective in both LS engine swap projects and direct OEM applications, enhancing throttle response and overall engine efficiency. These headers maximize performance gains when paired with other modifications such as cold air intakes or cat-back exhaust systems.
Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy-duty 16-gauge mild steel with mandrel-bent tubing for consistent exhaust velocity, the smooth transition primary tubes measure 1-3/4 inches in diameter. The 2-1/2 inch OE-style collector flange connects directly to the factory exhaust head pipe with no cutting or welding required. Finished with a satin silver metallic ceramic thermal barrier coating, these headers offer durability and reduce under-hood temperatures while providing a clean appearance.
Installation. Installation is simplified with included premium aluminum gaskets and mounting hardware. The design ensures a direct fit replacement with no cutting or welding necessary at the collector connection. Depending on the vehicle, minor adjustments might be needed for a proper fit, but no extensive modifications are generally required.
Application. These headers fit 2003 through 2013 6.0L Chevy/GMC Silverado, Tahoe, and Yukon models, both 2WD and 4WD, providing a direct fit with no major modifications required.
